Damage after collision at Maasvlakte

On 13 April 2012 at shunting-yard Maasvlakte west side two locomotives collided. Two months after the incident the transport of the V 100 locomotive commenced. As a result of the damage the transport to the workshop for Alstom Locomotive service Stedal (Germany) went by road. Marintec Expertise acted as a liaison between the container terminal and the railway company called for tenders for the mobile transport. On 16 June 2013 the locomotive was loaded on the flat-bed trailer. During the evening on the 18 June 2012 the transport finally departed.
