Buy out of Marintec Expertise by Verschoor & Bras

We are pleased to announce that Marintec Expertise BV as from 3 March 2017 is part of V + B Holding BV in Rotterdam, the parent company of Verschoor & Bras BV and Marinco Survey BV.

Reason for this takeover is the desire of Marintecs director Cees Touw to retire within a few years. His wish was to leave the company, successfully built by himself, and the employees consisting of two surveyors and a secretary, in good hands.

Discussions concerning the takeover have run in an extremely amiable atmosphere, and all parties are convinced that the new collaboration will be most productive. The activities of these Rotterdam-based survey agencies, with their maritime and non-marine experts and technical consultants, dovetail perfectly, bringing synergetic benefit to both. Next year Cees will be leading the office at the Maasvlakte. He will remain committed to Marintec for the next coming years, albeit less intense. A start has been made to fill the gap that Cees will leave in term.

Marintec Expertise will remain stationed at their office at the Maasvlakte in order to serve their clients as good as possible. The general management will be conducted from the (head)office at Burgemeester Hazenberglaan 403 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

The company is located in Rotterdam-Maasvlakte, The Netherlands. Principals are stevedores, transport companies, rail traction companies, underwriters and brokers, for surveys relating to damages, claims management and loss control.
